The Feature Isn’t the Flex—The Follow-Through Is.
Building Beyond Visibility for the Benjamins, BABY!
By Kera Sanchez, Editor-in-Chief
Last night, we hosted our very first ISSUE FAQ for women interested in getting involved in the next issue of MILSPO Social Co. Magazine—and the conversations did not disappoint. We had powerful dialogue with small business owners and leaders across the military spouse space, and it was exactly the kind of room we need more of.
Because let’s be real—if you’re a small business owner in 2026, your audience isn’t just buying a product or service. They’re buying into you. They want to know you’re experienced, vetted, and rooted in something meaningful. Mission-driven brands are leading the way, and your why now carries just as much weight as your what.
One of the biggest ways to establish authority and position your brand as one worth investing in is by showcasing your story—your credentials, testimonials, affiliations, and media features.
Yes, a feature in MILSPO Social Co. Magazine gives you a beautifully curated way to do exactly that. But woman to woman, let’s keep it honest—it’s not just about getting featured. It’s about being ready to be featured, whether that’s with us or any other platform.
We didn’t just talk theory—there were real receipts in the room. Britt Hall of Pattern and Purpose shared that since contributing to the magazine and joining the Insider Circle, she’s gained noticeable growth and reach in her business.
And thank goodness Moni Jefferson, CEO and Founder of the Association of Military Spouse Entrepreneurs, was in the room—because she said what needed to be said. This isn’t just about one feature. It’s about how you use it.
A feature. A new credential. A testimonial. A network connection.
Those aren’t the finish line—they’re the doorway.
You can’t just post it and hope it works. You have to leverage it. You have to use it to pull people into your orbit. The visibility opens the door, but it’s on you to guide people through it.
Showcasing your authority cannot be passive.
You can’t get featured and then sit on it.
You can’t land a PR opportunity for reach and not have the systems in place to convert that attention into revenue.

Because let’s not play—it is about the Benjamins, baby.
